Minto, Listowel move on to international tourney
The Blyth Brussels Atom
Crusaders managed just a single
point at the Wingham Regional
Atom Silver Stick tournament held
last week
The first game for the Atom
Crusaders was on Dec. 3 when they
took on Drayton at the North Huron

third period. Scoring for the
Crusaders were Claire Mitchell and
Jackson McDonald. Joel Howson
and Max Johnson had one assist

The team’s second game was

Gene Johnson was not disappointed
in the way the team played. “We-
were in some tight games, some
close games,” he said, referring to
the one-goal losses and the draw.
“We played well.”
Against Arran-Elderslie, he was
hoping the team would be able to
stop them from tying up the game,
but were unable to. “That’s the way
the cookie crumbles,” he said.
“I’m proud of the way they
played,” said Johnson. “They played
hard.”
