ROBINSON. The family of Rose
Robinson would like to extend our
sincere thanks for the simply
stunning outpouring of support both
to Rose during her illness, as well as
to our family since her passing. We
are so grateful for the many acts of
kindness bestowed upon us. Prayers,
visits, food dropped off to all of our
homes, flowers, phone calls,
memorial donations and the many
thoughts and stories shared with us
have warmed our hearts and lifted
our spirits. A special thank you to
Sharon Carnochan for opening your
home to feed our family between
visitations and to Erin Carnochan,
Shelley McGavin, Sandra Dietz,
Darlene and Brittany Williams for
helping Sharon provide the food; it
was delicious physically and
spiritually. Pastor Laura of St.
Peter’s Lutheran Church, your
sermon and leadership were just
what Rose would have wanted,
thank you for knowing just what to
say and how to say it. For the gift of
music thank you to St. Peter’s Senior
Choir which Rose loved to hear each
Sunday and to Carol Carter for the
musical accompaniment. Faye
Murray, thank you for being our
voice in reading the eulogy; a
difficult task accomplished with
grace. To John and Sandy McGlynn,
Ruth Townsend and Charlene
O’Reilly of McGlynn Family
Funeral Home, your quiet support
and guidance gave us the comfort
and strength to get through a very
difficult time, thank you. Thank you
to the Lutheran Church Women for
your honour guard at Rose’s funeral
and the dessert at the hall. Rose was
a proud member of your group and
we are thankful for your unwavering
friendship and support. To Dr.
McGee in London and Dr. Percival
in Seaforth, we thank you for your
excellent care of Rose during her
illness. To the nurses and doctors in
the chemotherapy unit at the
Stratford hospital, you took such
good care of Rose during her
treatment, your warmth and
professionalism made that time
easier for Rose and the rest of us,
knowing she was in good hands. To
the nurses at the Seaforth
Community Hospital where Rose
spent her last days, thank you seems
hardly enough for your
compassionate, competent care. We
are truly blessed to have this hospital
and staff in our community. Lastly, a
special thank you to Rose’s
grandchildren who took on roles as
some of the pallbearers and all of the
flower bearers for Grandma, we
know how much you loved her; it
was a difficult job you handled with
maturity and she would have been
very proud of each of you. With
gratitude, Bob, Scott and Jeannette,
Jane and Bruce, Brent and Susan,
Anne and Heather, Jeff and Erin and
families. 42-1
