STOREY. The family of the late Lila
Storey would like to extend a sincere
thank you to everyone who provided
care and support to Mom and our
family during this difficult time. To
the doctors, nurses and staff at the
Clinton and Seaforth Public
Hospitals we give our heartfelt
thanks. Also to the special caregivers
of St. Elizabeth Health Care and
CCAC. Because of you, Mom was
able to enjoy her last days in the
comfort of her own home. This
meant so much to Mom, Dad and
family. A special thank you to Grace
Dolmage, Pastors Mary Fletcher and
Steve Hildebrand for their visits and
comforting prayers during Mom’s
stay at the hospital. Thank you to
Ruth Townsend, John and Sandy
McGlynn of McGlynn Funeral
Home for their guidance and
support. Our sincere thank you to
Marion Hunt, Carol Hunt, Sandra
Hunt, Sharon Pryce, Kathy
McNichol, Karen Braecker, and
Susan MacDonald for the lovely
meal served between the visitations
at the Cavan United Church. To
Pastor Mary Fletcher no words can
express our gratitude for the
beautiful memorial service and your
loving support during our difficult
time. We are especially appreciative
for those who shared their gifts and
talents during Mom’s celebration of
life, Marg Whitmore, the Harmony
Kings, John Jewitt, Andrew Patrick,
Alf Ross, Nancy Denham, and
Sheila Lavoie. Thank you Jack and
Lia Snell for offering your beautiful
white doves that were released at
Mom’s grave site. Also thank you to
Laverne and Nita McClure at
Maitland Bank Cemetery. We thank
Cavan and Northside Church
members for the use of their
churches and for providing a
delicious luncheon following the
service. Thank you to our family,
friends and neighbours. Your
comforting words, cards, prayers,
generous donations to the various
charities, many beautiful floral
arrangements and the gifts of food
were greatly appreciated. Your
presence at the visitations and
funeral meant so much to all of us
and for those who could not attend,
we know your thoughts and prayers
were with us. – Orville and family
