Livingston said Watson played well for the Ironmen in goal for his first game. “It was a tough situation to go in there on penalty shots in the end,” he said. “That’s good for him, he’ll get a lot of experience out of that for the next time.” The Ironmen were using their rookies on special teams throughout the contest. “We gotta use them, because you have to spread around as many guys as you can, that’s what you got them for,” he said. “Some guys are power play guys and some guys kill penalties and that’s what it’s all about.” Watson said there were a couple of bad bounces in the game which cost the Ironmen. “The boys worked hard, too bad we couldn’t win it,” he said. Watson indicated it was his first shootout at the Junior C level as he was involved with them in minor hockey. Although it was his first game he just took it as another game as he didn’t want to put too much pressure on himself or else he would start worrying too much. After making the save on the first shooter in the shootout, Watson said the second shooter caught him by surprise. “I didn’t know he was going to shoot it,” he said. The Ironmen play two games again this weekend. They host the Mount Forest Patriots on Friday in a game getting underway at 7:30 p.m. at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex. On Saturday, they travel to Walkerton for an 8:20 p.m. contest against the Hawks. www.hc-cs.ca Thefts in Blyth McKILLOP MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY Box 819, 91 Main Street S., Seaforth, Ontario N0K 1W0 Office: 519-527-0400 • 1-800-463-9204 www.mckillopinsurance.com Brought to you by: Huron County OPP officers are investigating a string of thefts that occurred in Blyth.
