Coffee Break coming Students to collect food on Halloween Them to others Thanks to the work of the nearly 20 students involved in fundraising work at Hullett Central Public School, nine of them, with their teacher Mrs. Van Veen, were able to attend the We Day conference in Toronto and get new ideas on how to serve their community. (Denny Scott photo) Enjoying being together again after a summer break and sharing a meal at the Londesborough Community Hall were 14 members of the Happy Gang Seniors and one guest. Discussion was had as to the future of the group. Then those gathered enjoyed musical entertainment by Annie Thalen. She shared what one member referred to as ‘their kind of music’. Radford’s Farm Equipment/post office will hold its Alzheimer Coffee Break this Friday, Oct. 4. Please stop by for coffee and cookies and fellowship at some point during your day in support of the efforts of the Huron County Alzheimer Society. Coffee should be ready by 9 a.m. Everyone must be pleased to see changes to the property at the corner of London Road and Londesborough Road. Just cutting the grass and cleaning up the yard was a huge improvement. Bradley Greidanus, son of Louis and Nancy Greidanus, has purchased the property. On the weekend they put on a new roof. Welcome changes. The Sacraments of Baptism and Communion will be administered at Londesborough United Church this coming Sunday, Oct. 5. The senior choir will practice prior to the morning service.
