Aug. 2, and she said she has sold
some of them, but some will be
available.
“They keep well once they are
frozen, so I should have a lot to sell
for awhile,” she said.
While she is interested in farming,
Plaetzer said that this experience
isn’t one she plans to build a career
on.
Now entering Grade 12, she said
she will continue to work on the
farm until she graduates when she
plans on pursuing a career as a
Personal Support Worker.

M-T considers demolishing school
Morris-Turnberry Council is
looking for as much information as
it can gather before making a
decision on how to proceed with
Turnberry Central Public School.
After a closed session held on July
16, council authorized municipal
staff to investigate costs associated
with demolishing the school.
In an interview with The Citizen
after the meeting, Mayor Paul
Gowing said no decision has been
made yet on the future of the school
building.
“We felt we should know the
costs,” Gowing said. “So we figured
if we got quotes on demolition, that
would let us know the costs of that
option.”
An advertisement in last week’s
issue of The Citizen announced a
request for proposals by the
municipality, with a deadline of
Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at noon.
