Part Time (10 hours per week) ~ 6 months Contract Position
The Municipality of Morris-Turnberry is located in the northern end of
Huron County and balances urban, rural and agricultural communities.
The Municipality is searching for a dynamic individual to act in the
capacity of “Economic Development Assistant”.
Reporting to the Administrator Clerk-Treasurer, the successful
candidate will be responsible to:
• Update and maintain the business directory
• Networking and liaison with greater business community
• Provide research and assistance in Economic Development
• Design and prepare newsletters for advertising and brochures
• Update and maintain the Economic Development website section
The applicant shall have a post secondary degree or diploma in
Geography, Business, Economics, Marketing or related discipline and
two years related experience and a good understanding of municipal
economic development, writing and project management
responsibilities. They must have excellent written, verbal,
interpersonal, organizational, research and analytical skills.
