Beckett John Noble was introduced to the congregation at Brussels United Church on Sunday as the sacrament of baptism was celebrated. Parents Mike and Nicole looked on as Beckett verbally responded to their words in response to Pastor Sandra Cable. Using one of the fans as his focus, Beckett’s language was for his ears only but it sure was clear he was telling someone something. It seemed as if he needed his opinion put on record as well. Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Murray Lowe just smiled in agreement. Speaking of Murray, I hope you got to pop in and congratulate him on his long-term occupation. Holy cow – 50 years in one occupation, with the same boss. Statistically I think we average seven different jobsin our lifetime.
