night and the evening featured several performances, both by solo skaters and by groups.

regarding dog bites.
His research indicated that the
information was not being provided
due to privacy concerns and, through
work, he eventually arranged to
learn of dogs that had bitten on at
least two occasions. This, however,
wasn’t really a satisfactory position
according to Trick.
“I had four meetings with Health
Unit managers in Huron County,
and, up to last January, I was told of
all the dog bites in any of the
municipalities I cover,” he explained
to council. “On Jan. 1, the
information stopped coming. I
didn’t realize that until someone
called me and told me about a dog
bite.”
Trick said that, between the four
meetings, he discovered he wouldn’t
get the information despite the fact
that he is a Provincial Officer and a
Peace Officer and that he believed
the information should flow
freely between two offices of the
county.
“I feel, that if I know about a
biting situation, I can stop the
second bite from happening,” he
said.
Council stated that they would
work on Trick’s behalf to try and
“remove the barricade” between him
and the information.
