PUBLIC NOTICE
The Council of the Municipality of Central Huron is in the process of completing a new
Procedure Bylaw. A Procedure Bylaw governs the calling, place and proceedings of meetings.
Council will be reviewing the bylaw at the following meetings of Council:
Tuesday, March 12, 2013 @ 1:00 p.m. Committee of the Whole (Review of second draft)
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 @ 7:00 p.m. Regular Council Meeting -consideration and
approval of Bylaw
The above meetings of Council are held in the Council Chamber at REACH, 169 Beech Street,
Clinton.
The residents of Central Huron are invited to comment and make suggestions on the procedure
bylaw for Council’s information. These comments must be submitted in writing to the Clerk’s
office at 23 Albert Street, Clinton, ON or by Email: clerk@centralhuron.com by noon
Wednesday, March 6th in order for them to be placed on the agenda of the March 12th
Committee of the Whole Meeting. Updates and copies of the draft procedure bylaw can be
found on the Municipal Website www.centralhuron.com

Please note a time and venue change for the next Regular meeting of
the Council of the Municipality of Central Huron.
Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
My United Community Hall, Central Huron Community Complex,
239 Bill Fleming Drive, Clinton, ON
The Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) will be
attending Council to present the initial screening report for the
community for a deep geological repository. Once this report is received
by Council, the next step will be for the NWMO to schedule a public
information session for a later date.
