The family of the late Genevieve Allen would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and kindness during the recent loss of our dear mother. Your kindness and caring for Mom these last few years will never be forgotten. Thank you to Rev. Pat Cook for conducting such a meaningful service; to the Falconer Funeral Home staff for their help and guidance; and to Don Allen and Colleen Edwards for sharing a heartfelt eulogy which helped us to remember the wonderful life which their grandmother enjoyed. The family of the late Dorothy Dalton would like to express sincere appreciation to all neighbours, friends and relatives for their many acts of kindness. We deeply appreciated the phone calls, e-mails, facebook condolences, food, sympathy cards, visits, memorial donations, flowers, coming to the visitation and funeral or just thinking about us. Special thanks to Pastor Mary Fletcher for her visits to Mom and her service. Thanks to Carol Carter for being the organist at the funeral. Thank you John and Sandy McGlynn, Ruth Townsend and Jeff Denham of the McGlynn Family Funeral Home for guiding and supporting us during this difficult time. We would also like to thank all the pallbearers and flower bearers. Thank you to the Winthrop Cavan United Church ladies for serving the lunch and to Adam and Kelly-Ann Keys for opening their house to us, for lunch between visitations. We would like to thank the ambulance drivers, Seaforth Community Hospital emergency staff and the hospital staff for previous stays. Special thanks to Dr. Kluz and Dr. Shepherd. Thanks to the staff at Wingham and District Hospital where she doctored before moving to the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home. Thanks to Care Partners (nurses) and One Care (homemakers) who came to Mom’s house. Finally, a big thank you to all Seaforth Manor Nursing Home staff, volunteers and residents for being so good to Mom. Mom gained another family in there. Thanks to everyone who visited and made phone calls to Mom as she enjoyed them so much.
