Our heartfelt thanks to all friends, neighbours and family for the kind deeds rendered to Gordon during his life’s journey. As we lived miles apart, we weren’t always able to be with him as much as we would liked to have been. You were always there for him. We are grateful to Rev. Bill Vandersteldt for being with us at the hospital on January 4. Your words at the service touched our hearts. Thanks to Mary Jane Bissett for visits too and thanks to Chris Smith and Mark at the Falconer Funeral Home, Bluewater Chapel, Goderich for comfort shown to us at this difficult time. Many thanks to the Auburn Lions Club for their touching memorial tribute to Gordon at the funeral home, for making and serving the luncheon at the Auburn Hall and many other kindnesses. Thanks to everyone who helped with the farm sale. Thanks to Dr. Hay, the dialysis unit and doctors and staff at Goderich hospital. Thanks to all the staff at Goderich Place Retirement Home for their excellent care during his short stay. Thanks to all of you for your kind words, cards, visits, donations, floral tributes and kindnesses. Your thoughts during our loss of Gordon is very much appreciated. – The Daer family. 03-1p CAMPBELL.
