The Exeter Red Cross Branch
will hold a general meeting of all
the Units in James St. church, Fri
day evening, March 27 th at 8
o’clock. This meeting is' of special
interest as Miss Sayers from head
quarters in Toronto will be present
and organize a course in Health.
Home Nursing and Emergencies

McAlister, a senior, is majoring in
economics. He is a member of the
Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and
of the Little Theatre club and is on
the varsity fencing team. He form
erly was president of Phi Sigma
Kappa. McAlister attended South

ADDED ’PHONE SERVICE
Lines are now being erected to
provide telephone service from the
Exeter exchange to the new Royal
Air Force Service Flying Training
School being established under the
Commonwealth Air Training Plan
at Centralia, according to Mr. J, F.
Rolfe, manager of the Bell Tele
phone Company of Canada.
Approximately 26,000 feet of new
cable will be erected to the school,
providing facilities for a private
branch exchange, teletype and tele
graph service, and lines for public
telephones to be installed for the
use of the airmen.
Direct connection will also be
provided from the Centralia Airport
to the associated! landing field at
Grand Bond.
This Is just one of many under
taking's which the Bell Telephone

military establishments throughout
