nesday of last week tor treatment.

a telegram from their Son, Cecil,
on New Year’s Day, saying that he
had received a position as perman
ent operator at St. Catharines and
Merriton with the C.N.R.
Mrs. G. Andrew received word ;
on Saturday that her nephew, Mr.
Bill Yates, of the R;C.A.'F'., had
been killed in active service over
seas. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew spent
the weekend with Mr. Yate’s par
ents in Toronto.
