All the teams of the district have lost men through enlistments and removal to war' in dustries but it is expected • that the Cyclone League will operate. Lucan, last year’s champions* and Exeter, are fboth prepared to enter teams, and it is hoped that Dash wood and Hensail may be able to do so. Crediton has been particu larly hard hit in the loss of players and will hardly be able to ice a team. It is possible that room could be made in the league for one or two London teams, who would care to play their games in Exeter. The manager of any city team that might be interested in this 'can get in touch with C. V. Pickard, Exeter. The high ^chool has entered a team in WOSSA. Robert Southcott, last year's goalie, will be missing from the line-up, as will !be the Fahner brothers, Austin and Wal lace. 'Crediton will still be repre sented by a Fahner, however, as a cousin, C. Fahner, is sure of a place on this year’s team. Other names mentioned as likely to make the team are Moore* Traquair, B'.
