Mrs. Alfred Coates has received word from her cousin, Mr. John Luxton, of Topeka, Kansas, who is recuperating after being ill for oVeJr a month with a heart condition.’ Mr. Luxton was planning to spend part of' his holidays renewing ac-. quaintances in and around Exeter when he was taken ilPat his home with coronary thrombosis and was hurried to the hospital. For sever- al days he was in a critical condi­ tion and his three daughters were called to his bedside. For the past two weeks he has been sitting up two or three times a day an hour or so at a time and his doctor assures him that he will be well and strong again.
