The Main St. W.M.'S. held their
August jneeting on August 1,4th, on
Mrs. Medd’s lawn, With Mrs. Pen
rose presiding. After the opening
hymn and prayer, the minutes of
the previous meeting were read and
approved and the business of the
month discussed. It was decided
that each1 member bring an ad
ditional offering of'Tifty cents to tiie
September meeting, .All took part
In the worship service"which follow
ed the theme, “Demonstrating the
Way of Christ in Social. Welfare”.
This was followed by a memorial
service for Miss Bessie Hartnoil,
a beloved member of the’ auxiliary,
who recently passed to her reward.
