F- Beavers and Dr. and Mrs. Anderson enjoy-ed a pleasant motor trip over the i ■Holiday week-end* They visited at Rondeau Park, and on the-way call­ ed oh Dr. and Mrs. Graham, of Dut­ ton, formerly of Exeter, who made enquiry for many of their old , friends in Exeter. Donald is now with the air force in Prince. Edward’ Island. They spent the night at Leamington and early Monday morn­ ing visited Jack Miner’s bird sanc­ tuary at Kingsville, Mr. Miner was just starting out to feed the birds J and invited the party to join him. ; They were shown all over the grounds, the birds lighting on their shoulders and feeding from their hands. One even took some corn from the lips of Mr. Beavers, At Amherstburg they called on Mr. and Mrs. Sandvik, parents of Mrs. Reg. Beavers, and then followed the beautiful drive along the Detroit - River to Windsor. At Thamesville op their journey home they again called on some old friends. Mr, Fred Mitchell, of London, visited with Mrs, Mitchell and fam­ ily in town for the week-end. McLaughlin, of Brantford. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband and one daughter, Margar­ et, nurse in a New York Hospital. Mr. McLaitghlin is an Exeter boy and his many friends Will sympathize With him in his bereavement. The funeral was held Tuesday, M. Mr. and Mrs. E< T.
