M, Drysdale attended the funeral of the late Mr, Robert Drys­ dale, who passed away at his home near Sandusky, Mich,, on Saturday August 2nd, In his .67th year. The deceased was born at Drysdale, Ont-, and moved to Michigan about forty years ago, where he had a general store. He was united in marriage to Miss' Sarah Johnston, of Drys­ dale in 1901, who survives him, and one daughter, Mrs, Harold Forbes, of Marlette, Mich. Two brothers, Jack, of Vancouver, B.C., and Mr. G. M. Drysdale, of Hensail, and three sisters, Mrs. M. R. Mac­ Neil, Nevis, Sask, ell, of Shettler, MacLaren, Hensa)l. The funeral was held from the late residence on Tuesday, August 5th, Interment in Hensail Union Cemetery, i Badour—Ducharme St. Peter’s Church, Drysdale; was the setting for a pretty wedding at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 2nd, when Reta “Margaret, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Du­ charme, was united in marriage to Mr. Emery Badour, son of Mrs. Ba- dour and the late Mr. Joseph Ba-! dour by Rev. Father Martin. The charming bride, given in marriage by hei’ father, wore a white duchess satin lace gown with long veil caught with a bandeau of orange blossoms and carried a white pray- ei’ book from which fell satin streamers knotted with forget-me- nots, cousin gown gloves dour, best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, to some seventy-five guests. Mrs. Butler was .86 years of age and was a native of England. Rev. Mr. Aidworth, of Staffa United Church conducted the. services which were largely attended. The pallbearers were David Bruce, Cal­ der MeKaig, William Kay, Frank' Harburn, William Chappel and John Leary. The flower bearers were four grahdsons, Ross Fischer, To­ ronto, Lome Fischer, Guelph, Lloyd Fischer, Hamilton and Filmer Chappel, Cromarty. Interment was made in Staffa cemetery, Mrs. Butler’s husband, William Butler, died 16 years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. D. M. Fischer, Guelph, three sons, William, Lon­ don; Bert and Russell, at home; and one sister and three brothers, Mrs. John Shute, Kirkton; Richard, Calgary; Emmanuel, Toronto; Joseph, Cromarty.
