Sunday School Picnic A very enjoyable time was spent by the congregation of the United Church here and the one from Hills- green, on Tuesday of last week, when they journeyed to Jowett’s Grove, Bayfield, for their annual Sunday School Picnic, Many en­ joyed a ball game during the after­ noon. During the wind and storm on Sunday evening the hydro transformer opposite the town hall burned out and left the whole town ip a blackout, The hydro office was notified at Exeter and they repaired the damages and soon had the lights on ag^in, Mr, and Mrs, Wallace Dick and daughter, Ruth, of Canton, Ohio, visited with relatives here recently? Mr, pick is a Hensail old boy and it is the first time he has been hero to visit for seventeen years. His many friends were pleased to see him again. Rev. R. A. Songster, of Mr. David Robinson, In his 78th year, The deceased moved to Hen- sall thirteen years ago with his wife, who predeceased him six years ago, from Millbrook, where he was a .councillor .and deputy reeve for several years. Mr. Robinson also served on the municipal council for different terms.
