Bruce also had a very good night of bowling as his scores for the three league games were 233, 448 and 199 for a total of 880. Goderich Man Wins Bayfield Golf Tourney Despite Sunday's poor weath- er a good crowd of area golfers • were on hand for the Bayfield- Clinton Golf Club's first tour- nament. The cold and drizzle did not • dampn the spirits of Izie Bed- ! and of Gocierich who turned in a 76 to take low gross honors. He was rewarded with a set of Spalding woods and has his name inscribed on the Larne Brown Motors Ltd. Trophy, which was donated for the event. Other prize winners, and their low. gross scores are as follows: Ken Doig of Sealb,:rth, 77; Bob, Hodgson of Clinton, 80; Wave Nelson of Goderich, 81; Murray Taylor of Clinton; Mel Ried Of Port Elgin; Frank Cunt- irVilogs of Clinton. Winners of low net play were: Brent Nelson, Goderich; Doug Bartliff, Clinton; Bud CleMents, Goderich; Harold McPherson, Clinton; Charles Martel, Goderich; Ken Hulls, Glencoe; Fred .Elliott, Clinton.
