throwing open to the public
this weekend, has been occu-
pied since July 1964.
The management have held
off the official opening until
now, so as to get everything
in shape for the public to see.
Former quarters of the old-
established 'business was on
the location where the new
federal 'building is now being
erected at the corner of King
and Wellington Streets.
The present owners pur-
chased the business in Sept-
ember 1949 from the estate
of the late Victor Falconer.
The business had been origin,
ally founded by the late
George Jenkins at the King-
Wellington location.
Present owners are- Royce
Macaulay and his brother-in-
