CGIT held their last meeting in
the form of a rnothetacianghter
banquet in -Wesley-Will* Unit-
ed church hall, SiXty. people
including CGIT members and
their mothers, leaders and.
members of the inter-Church
sponsering cornm' ittee were pre-
sent.
Each mother was presented.
with :a flower corsage by her
daughter, Guest soloist was Lyle
Steepe accompanied by Mrs.
Willis VanEgmond who also
conducted a sing-song.
The toast to the mothers was
made by Bonnie EdWards with
reply by Mrs. Jolin Fisber. Mrs:
Gordon Rathvell proposed a
Vast to CGIT with re'piy by
June Falconer.
A yellow rose, was presented
to Mrs, Fisher Who had attend-
ed three meetings and conduc-
ted an interesting craft project.

Guest' speaker at the meeting
Was C. H. Epps, Clinton, Who
spoke on the decreasing number
of edible fish in Lake Huron
waters caused by large num-
bers of predatory fish, notably
carp and suckers.
Following a most interesting
talk, Mr. Epps held the atten-
tion of the Lions with some
excellent slides photographed
during fish and moose hunting
trips in the north.

cated near the "Dufferin,
Gates" of the ONE and gives
the Services an opportunity

The 1964 CO, Armed For-
ces Display was Lieutenant-
Colonel Cy Sissons of the
Queens Own.

sleeves; the dress was accented
by a detachable train of plain
white peau de 'sole and a blue
cummerbund and matching
gloves. Her bouffant elbow-len7
eh- veil was held by 'a crown
of pearls and crystals and she
carried white roses tipped with
blue. -

headpiece, 'was maid of honor.
She wore .elbow-length gloves
of white and carried white roses
tipped with yellow.

Motor Hotel, Clinton, the tables
were enhanced with center-
pieces of yellow, white and blue
baby 'mums.
The bride's mother received
guests in a 'dress of blue' em-
broidered peau de sole- with
matching accessories and a cor-
sage of three white and blue
carnations. She was assisted by

among his many responsibilities
were the allotment and admin-
istration of the stations 220

ing officer for some half mil-
lion dollars of goods and ser-
vices for the unit's .messes and
institutes.
He was very active in sports,
being :the playing coach of the
station softball team, and a
member of the basketball and
fiag football teams. He was a
member of the Station Recrea-
tion Council and the Western
Ontario Armed Forces Sports
Association.
"Sandy's" wife, Shirley was
very active in the ladies bowling
league, and was 'a member of
the A/M Hugh Campbell School
