A pot -luck dinner was served by Gratin Two of the United Church Women. Rev. Wialiam Can of Londe:slam-10 conducted the meeting. Due to ,the absence of a resi- dent Minister, it was decided to extend the term of office of all elders and stewards for one year. The meeting was called by the Londesboro leiaders, Mrs. Dave, Anderson and- Mr. Carman Moon, and various pro- jects and programs were dis- cussed. In the Bible Study, one group has their Minister come to the meeting and lead in the Seurte Sone groups have not applied for chevrons. Mrs. Attheir Jackson. of Bel - grave spoke of th,e camps at Godes-deli and Mirmaehi and asked . for more leaders for these summer camps. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and adapted on the motion of Don McKenzie and Fraser Stirling, . The reports of the different church organizItions andbeards were given and showed that the, past year's activities heel provided respectable balances for the new year orf 1965. A vote of 'thanks was given to Rev. and Mrs. Pease for their work !among the people of the' congregation in the past- year; to Mr, and Mrs. Lloyd IVIalcins for their work as church treas- urers; to Mr. and Mrs'. Charles Scatehmer for their work as Missionary 'treasurers. The different boards and of- ficials were nearly all re -ap- pointed; the Session, the Trus- tee board, the parsonage board, the AI & M board, the treasur- ers, organist and congregation- al secretary. In the Sunday School 'department the positions were, reversed: Doreen Mac- Kenzie was appointed superin- tendent with Tecl Dunn as as- sistant.
