AUBURN—The AYPA of St.
Mark's Anglian Church, Blyth
and Belgrave and 'the Young
People of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Auburn, met at the
home of MATaret and Ed.
Haines. The president, Floyd
Smith was in charge of the
meeting which was opened by a
hYmn. with Margaret Haines at
the piano.
The scripture lesson from the
first chapter of John was read
by George Clark, Rev. Robert
Meially led in prayer. Floyd
Smith led in the discussion fol-
lowed by the topic, "Jehovah
Witnesees and The gospel of
Confusion". A hymn was sung
and Mr. lVfeally closed with
prayer. A short business per-
iod followed and plans were
made for the next meeting to
be 'held at the home' of Carole
Brown. Gail Miller will be in
charge of the topic.
Judy Arthur gave the finan-
cial report and also read the
minutes which were accepted as
read. The members voted to
have $10.00 sent to the Anglic-
an Missions, $10.00 to the Pres-
byterian Missions and $5.00 to
CARE. Lunch was served by
Margaret and Ed Haines.

Mrs. Frank Raithby learned,
last week from her niece and
nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff
Ronsen of Orilla, about her
friend, Miss Muriel Davis who
is a missionary ar Jamaica. Miss
Davis was well-known here
where she conducted the Dilly
Vacation Bible School. Mr. and
Mrs. Ronson (the former Eve-
lyn Raithbe) spent four days
in Jamaica 141siting friends. Mrs.
Ronson accompanied r
accountant husband on a buei-
neis trip to HCB Raclion Sta-
tion, Quito, Equad'or, South. Am-

ceived the rites of Holy Bap-
tism at St. Mark's Anglican
Church last Sunday by Rev, Ro-
bert Mealle. The godmother
was 'the baby's aunt, Miss Car-
olyn Clark of Gecierich. Among
the guests atteeding the service
was Mrs. Amos Stoll,' Goderich,
the baby's great-grandmother;
Mrs. John McNichol, Blyth, the
