the bride of William J. Murney of Hamilton in
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Clinton, on
December 11 at 7 p.m.

overskirt swept to a full cath-
edral train:- The gown had lily,
point sleeves. Her veil was em-
broidered With lace to match
the gown. She carried a white
Bible With red roses,
Miss Barbara Carter of
ton was maid of honor. She
wore a dress of red velvet with
a scooped neckline and a con-
trolled skirt. Her headdress
was a red velvet wedding ring.
She carried sprays of white.
'mums,
Miss Ellen Margaret Craig of .
London, cousin of the bride,
was bridesmaid. She wore a
royal blue velvet dress of a sim-
ilar style to that worn by the
maid of honor. She wore a roy-
al blue velvet Wedding ring
headdress and carried a spray
of white 'mm's.
Kathryn Elaine Johnson of
Clinton, sister of the bride, was
the flower girl. She wore a
royal blue velvet dress of the
'same style as that worn
the other attendants, with a
similar headdress.. She' carried
a nosegay of white 'mums ar-
ound a red rose.
Ronald Pearson of Clinton
was best man and David John-
son, brother of the bride, of
Clinton ushered the guests.
A reception followed at the
home of the bride. The bride's
mother received her guests
wearing a dark brown crepe
sheath-styled dress With beige
accessories and a corsage of
yellow 'roses. The groom's mo-
ther was unable to be present
as she was in hospital.
For a wedding trip to points
south the bride changed into a
winter white boucle suit with
red roses and red accessories.
The couple will reside in
Hamilton.
Guests attended the wedding
from. London, Hamilton, Sea-
forth, -Goderich and Clinton..t
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was entertained alt show-
ers given in her honor by Mrs.
Roger' Layton, her cousin; Miss
Barbara Carter, her maid of
honor; and also by the staff of
the 'Clinton Public HOSpItal,
Where the bride Was employed.
