MSS Elms Mutch introduced
the guests of the evening, Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph D. Munro who
showed pictures of their two-
month vacation in the Cana-
dian West. Mrs. IVitthro was the
commentator. Included were
some pictures showing her son
Glenn at work in the Alberta
oil fields, burning off oil and
gas. She told of the process
used in preparing these pro-
ducts for market.

Bilitufs Young • Peoples met in
1,,ondesbora on Stinday, Dec. 6.
The meeting opened . with a
sing-song led by Ken Sebtt and
Barbara Snell. The warship
serViee was opened by singling
a hymn. The Scripture Psalm
was read by Janke 34:Witt.
Theeffering was received and
a prayer was given by David
Preszcator. Gary Jewitt gave a
background on Communism
which was the topic. Bonnie
Snell and Norma McDougall•
then led two discussion groups.
A hymn was sung and' Bernice
Winking closed the worship by
a prayer.
Business was then discussed,
A bus trip to Toronto was talk-
ed about. The meeting closed
with recreation by Torn Riley
and lunch was served by group
three.

Buried Monday
Funeral services were held
on li/londaY, December '4h, for Mrs. Albert McFarlane at the
McFarlane - Robert funeral
home in Lambeth. She was the
farther Minnie Blanche "Omani
daughter of 'the late Henry
Hamlyn and Mary Anne Talbot
and was 'born at Fergus, On-
tario.
She .rioted to Lambeth with
her parents when she was a
child, and resided there 'With
her husband until he :retired to
St. Marys in 1962. They moved
to Auburn in October where he
has been assisting at the Ar-
thur funeral home with Mr. Wil-
liam S'ti14.
She has been a patient in St.
Marys hospital for the past
three weeks and was a member
of Lambeth United Church be-
fore tranSferring to St. Marys
United Church.
Mrs. McFarlane rested at the
Arthur faneral home until. Sat-
urday noon when the body WAS
taken to 'Lambeth. The funeral
service was conducted by Rev.
R. D. Qr6sby of. St. Marys
United Chu.rch with burial talca.

Of Edwin R. Gaunt, youngest
brother of Andrew, John, Earl,
Lila (Mrs. Ward Shickluna),
Verna (Mrs. Archie . :Aitchison)
predeceased. In 1918 at the age
of 17 yeth!s, John made his way
to Western Canada, residing in
Alberta where he has remained
making only one brief visit
home in 1924. Before returning
to Warburg, Alta., near Ed-
monton, he will remain for a
short time to visit with the
family and old friends.
