The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a street- length gown of Peau de faille accented with Alecon lace. The fitted bodice, styled on empire lines, had elbow-length sleeves and a rounded neckline. A flowing back panel fell from the waist. A dainty cap of pet- als and pearls held the scallop- ed French illusion veil. Her bouquet was of orange roses. The bull, con- signed by Heber Eedy & Sons, Dungannon, was purchased at $360.00 after some spirited bid- ding.' The Eedy's had several top placings at the recent Roy- al. Winter Fair. The 11 bulls averaged slightly over '$310.00. Elmer Diebel of Mildmay secured the top ;female from Jas. R. Coultes of Belgrave for $290.00 and John Ostrom paid to R. E. Thompson of Clinton $240.00 for a Juay bull calf, also taking its mother at $260.00. Martin Brothers of Elmira purchased eight head at what was considered one of 'the best consignments of Hereford's ever offered by the Huron Breeders. MODA Zone Meet Held Recently Zone One of 'the Mid-western Ontario Development Associa- tion met Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the Elm Haven Motor Hotel for the purpose of drawing up the. 1965 program. A short introduction to reg- ional development was given by zone chairman Howard Ait- ken of Goderich and color slid- es with commentary entitled "Regional Development in On- tario" were shown.
