The groom's mother assisted,
wearing a figured blue dress of
arnel jersey and black acces-
sories. She wore a corsage of
pink tinted 'mums.
For a 'trip to Western Can-
ada the bride donned a soft
flamingo pink wool suit with
matching accessories. She wore
a corsage of white 'mums.
Mr. and Mrs. Daer will re-
side at RR 1, Auburn.

Large Funeral
For Mrs. Plaetzer
AUBURN—Rev C. Carson
of Londesboro was in charge
of the largely-attended funeral
service for 'the late Mrs. Fred
Plaetzer, held in Knox United
Church last Thursday after-
noon. Rev. Robert Mealiy, rec-
tor of St, Mark's Anglican Ch-
urch, assisted. with the service.
Mr. Carson gave an inspiring
message to the sorrowing fam-
ily, relatives and friends, based
on. Psalm 121. Mr. Elliott Lapp
was -the soloist and sang, "Be-
side Still Waters," accompan-
ied by the church organist,
Mrs. Norman Wightman.
The pallbearers were Oliver
Anderson, Charles Scott, Bert
Daer, Sidney McClinehey, Ivan
Bean and Maurice Bean.
The beautiful 'floral tributes
and donations to the Cancer
fund paid a silent tribute to a
loving mother, a kind neighbour
and a faithful friend.
