Carson of Londesboro was in charge of the largely-attended funeral service for 'the late Mrs. Fred Plaetzer, held in Knox United Church last Thursday after- noon. Rev. Robert Mealiy, rec- tor of St, Mark's Anglican Ch- urch, assisted. with the service. Mr. Carson gave an inspiring message to the sorrowing fam- ily, relatives and friends, based on. Psalm 121. Mr. Elliott Lapp was -the soloist and sang, "Be- side Still Waters," accompan- ied by the church organist, Mrs. Norman Wightman. The pallbearers were Oliver Anderson, Charles Scott, Bert Daer, Sidney McClinehey, Ivan Bean and Maurice Bean.
