This sale was held' by the kind per- mission of Mrs. R. H. F. Gaird- ner in her store. The ,home of Mr. and Mrs, Fred Middleton was the scene of their annual family picnic on Sunday last. Their seven children, their wives and 23 grandchildren were present. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph .Sitorey and son James attended the 75th anniversary of the found- ing of Westfield United Chur- ch, in East Wawanosh Town- ship, which was he'd last week- end. Weetfield Church is part of the Atiburn charge. The Rev. Harold Snell of London' was the guest speaker, Mr. and Mrs. David Middle- ton, Randy and Chris, returned home on Sunday after a week's holiday at Wasoga Beach. Mrs. Ross' Middleton had several of her oil paintings on exhibit last week at Count- "house Park when the Goderich Art Club held its annual Art Mart. There were around 200 paintings at this eeddbition, in- cluding a Poster display by Miss Hession of Bayfield. MRS, DONALD HARRIS and'Mrs .Douglas Wright of Halifax, Yorkshire; England, have spent the past two weeks visiting relatives in the Clinton area.
