The regular Meeting of Bur,
=view Auxiliary was held at,
the Home on Monday, June 15,
with the president;- Mrs. Louis
Forest in the chair.
Routine business, reading of
the financial report and the
arts and: crafts report w er e
given Mrs, Forest thanked the
auxiliary and friends for help-
ing to make the tea and baz-
aar the success - it was.
Mrs. Forest said a number of
persons have asked the question
"What are the funds from the
bazaar used for?"
Sales Explained
The .Auxiliary explained each
resident of the home received
one-third the selling price of
the articles on which he" or she
has Worked, and the rest of
the money is used to buy new
materials.
Some of the residents display
their own creations„ and then
the total selling price goes to
the residents. •
Film Costs
The next regular meeting of
the auxiliary will be held on
Monday, July 20 at 2:30 p.m.
in the Arts and Crafts Room
Of Huronview.
The auxiliary also: explained
costs of film and its processing
for the Over-80 Birthday Club
of CKNX-TV is taken from the
Arts and Crafts Fund.

council chamber this Friday af-
ternoon and evening.
In addition to the rose con-
test ,there will be classes for
other seasonal varieties of flow-
ers, and area residents are in-
vited to exhibit, their blooms.
The Clinton Greenhouse has
donated two- rose buShes which
will be included as door prize

week's edition of the News-
Record).

The wedding of Patricia E.
Medd and John A. Armstrong
was solemnized on Saturday,
June 13, 1964, at 4 p.m. in St.
Joseph's Catholic Church, Clin-
ton with Rey. Father S, E. Mc-
Guire officiating.
The 'bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd J. Mecld,
RR 1 Clinton and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen
Armstrong, RR 1 Varna.
The bride's dress was a white
floor length. gown of silk or-
ganza over taffeta, V neckline,
fitted bodice, and a full -skirt
fell into a train. Her headpiece
was of nylon net veil and form-
ed like a rose of silk organza
and small petals. She carried
deep pink roses.
The matron of honour was
Mrs. Joe Williams, London, sis-
ter of the who wore a
bell-shaped blue. sheath of silk
organza over taffeta. Her round
ed neckline was trimmed with
small bows on. back, falling into
streamers with matching head-
dress, which was in the form of
a wedding • ring, covered with
nylon net,.

dressed Identically to the mat-
ron of honour,

Miss Glenyce Jewitt, Mrs. Bill
Stanbury, Miss Vicki Finch and
Miss Cheryl Mousseau.
Miss Mary Armstrong and
Mrs. William Staribury enter-
tained at the home of their mo-
ther, Mrs. Allan Armstrong on
Thursday, June. 4 at a grocery
shower in honour of Miss Pat-
ricia Medd. Contests were con-
ducted by the hostesses. A
dainty lunch was served by Mrs.
Howard Armstrong and Mrs.
Floyd Armstrong.
