Treasurer of School Section No. 3 and, therefore it is pre-
sumed he is not bonded,
On the Revenue Fund Balance Sheet of the Township
of Tuckersmith School Area there is shown an aliment
due from the Capital Funds of $20,000.00. I would again
suggest that this amount be written off as it is apparent
that the Capital Funds does not have any money to pay
off this amount,
No commercial rate was levied against the taxpayers
with respect to the District High Schools.
There is no authority to make a pre-levy for loans
under the Tile Drainage Act, In 1963 the pre-levy amount-
ed to $1,171,35.
Auditor's Opinion
Subject to the foregoing, I report that in my opinion:
(1) The financial transactions which have come un-
der my notice have been within the powers of the munici-
pality.
e (2) The audit has been conducted in accordance with
the instructions of the Department of Municipal Affairs.
(3) The financial statements present fairly the finan-
cial position of the Municipality as at December 31, 1963,
and the results of its operations for the year ended on
that date.

Gordon Taylor
After 19 years of operation,
Gordon R. Taylor has closed
the doors of his cold storage
plant because of 'the high cost
of operation.
Mr. Taylor said during the
years an icing condition had
developed in 'the insulation of
the plant, and the cost would
have been too high• to make
renovations.
The plant was built in 1945
by Brown Construction 'of
Chesley, and the freezer unit
was installed by Blake Refrig-
eration of" London.
The locker room , contained
185 individual lockers of vari-
ous sizes which were in con-
stant demand.
Mr. Taylor said he is main-
taining his sharp freeze and
cooling room for the use of cus-
tomers who now have their
own freezers,
