The toast to the mo- thers was proposed by Mary Sanderson and on behalf of the mothers presents Mrs, Sander- son expressed her thanks for the banquet and also to the leaders 'for their work with, the girls during the past year, Mrs. Mervyn Lobb, Clinton, girls' secretary of the Huron Presbyterial, •brought greetings, and spoke on their work and encouraged the girlS to strive for higher goals during their 'teens.
