Plan Future Events
The Ontario Street UCW unit
four met May 25 at 8 p.m,
under the chairmanship of Mrs.
Ross Trewartha. Mrs. Trevaar-
tha was assisted with devotions
by 'Mrs. Carmen McPherson
and Mrs. Don Watson.
Miss Elva Wil'tse was in ch.
arge of the study book. Nine-
teen members answered the roll
call, and members reported 11
home calls and 12 hospital calls
had been made since the last
meeting.
Guest speaker was Miss Ev-
elyn Hall. Lunch was served
by Mrs. Reg Smith and her
group.
Unit Two met in the church
parlour Tuesday • at 2:30 p.m.,
with Mrs. Alice Lawson pre-
siding. Mrs. J. B. Levis was
assisted with devotions by Miss
Sybil Courtice.
Seventeen members answered
roll call and gave donations
for the bazaar on June 13.
Members reported 14 hospital
calls and several home calls.
Plans were completed for ,the
bazaar, cake sale and tea on
June 13, and for the men's club
supper July 3. Mrs. Ray Fear'
was in charge of the study
book. Lunch was served by
Mrs. F. Lobb and her group.

Mrs. Willis VanEgmond spoke
tar the Clinton Hospital Auxil-
iary Ladies Tuesday night about
her work as occupational there»
past at the Ontario Hospital at
God'erich.
Mrs. VanEgxnond dernonstrat-
ed a number of projects on
which patients are working,
Mrs. K. S. Wood presided
at the, business meeting and
the minutes were read by Mrs,
D. J.Cochrane, secretary. The
treasurer's report was' read by
Mrs, Duff Thompson.
Mrs. H. C. Lawson reported
the buying committee had made
further inquiries concerning the
purchase of ado tional cups and
saucers and the possible pur-
chase of coffee spoons for the
nurses' residence.
The recommendations
f the
eo
buying committee were accept-
ed by the meeting.
It was also suggested that a
roll call at the meetings should
be 'answered by each member
presenting a current magazine
for the hospital cart.
The meeting agreed it would
be appreciated if magazine sub-
scribers—and particularly sub-
scribers to "Reader's Digest",
would donate current issues of
the magazine to the auxiliary
for distribution among the hos-
pi'tal patients.
The meeting voted thanks to
Mrs. Albert Epps for her floral
arrangements at the Florence
