WARBLE FLY POWDER
750 lbs. to be in 15.4b. bags, and 50 lbs. to be in 1-lb.
bags. Bidders must name the ,brand of spray and the per-
centage of Rotenone contained in the powder. Delivery
to be made in the Township Shed in Itondesboro. All
tenders are to be clearly marked as to contents and are
to be in the 'Clerk's Office not later than February 29,
at 6:00 o'clock p.m. Lowest or any tender not necessarily
accepted.

within the municipality. All tenders are to be clearly
marked as to contents, and are to state the price per spray
per head, and are to be in the Clerk's Office not later
than February 29, at 6:00 'o'clock p.m,, 1964, All persons
tendering for this job must be registered with the Indus-
trial Hygiene Branch of the Ontario Department of Health
and also must be covered with insurance.
The sprayer must work under the supervision of an
Inspector and must conform, to the regulations imposed
by the Warble Fly Spray 'Act, Lowest or any tender not
necessarily accepted.

The February meeting of
Summerhill Ladies Club was
held at the home of Mrs. Wil-
liam.' Jenkins with '2.4 nieMbers
and one visitor present.
Thank you notes were receiv-
ed from Mr. and Mrs, Henry
Baker and also the Children's
Aid Society.
During the business meeting
it was decided 'to make a dona-
tion of $5.00 to the March of
Dimes and $10.00 to the Clinton
hospital Auxiliary bursary fund.
A quilt was quilted during
the afternoon.

Real Estate Changes
Of interest to the members
was the 12 changes of real
estate which had taken place in
this community. The village it-
self had been enlarged during
the year and new streets open-
ed up and some closed to traf-
fic. One new ranch type home
'had been built by Mr. and Mrs,
Robert Turner and they and
their daughter Lynn had moved
into it early last fall.
Three golden wedding days
were observed by Auburn. resi-
dents, 'two 40th's, three 25th's
and one 15th wedding anniver-
sary.

days as a patient in Toronto

sently in hospital in London

Youths Busy
On Thursday, February 20,
the Stouts and Guides had a
"belated" Valentine dance at
the Scout hall, Games were
played, the outstanding one be-
ing a contest for singing com-
mercials, Scout -Master Ross
Marshall and assistant Scout
Master Andre Beaudouin were
in charge.
The Scouts, Cubs, Guides and
Brownies held a church parade
on Sunday morning, February
23. The packs were led by
"Scotty Marshall" who played
the bagpipes from the Scout
hall to the chapels.
At 'the RC chapel, five lads
received the "Religion and Life"
awards. These were Ronald
Forcier, Robert" Betts, Brian
McDonald, Michael Kelley and
Michael Gaffney.
At the Protestant chapel, six
flags, were presented to Padre
Swaren. Glenda Wade led in
the responses. Bill Estabrookes

Middleton Mourns
Former Residents
The sympathy of the com-
munity goes out to Mrs. Ben
Rathwell and faMily in the loss
of their husband and father.
With the passing also of Miss
Mabel Rathwell on Sunday of
this week, this family has been
doubly bereaved.
