in a floor-length gown of chap-
tally lace, sheer fashoined with
sheath sleeves, and a snugly
fitted'bodice emphasizing a full
bouffant skirt.
The bateau neckline was
sprinkled With irridescent se-
quins and her .four-tier veil of
illusion tulle was held by a
crown of pearls and sequins and
she carried a white' Bible with.
pink delight roses and stream-
ers.
Miss Joyce Matthews, Gode-
rich, was maid of honour and
the bridesmaids were Miss
Irene Taylor, Clinton, sister of
the bride, and Miss ..Jeanett
Worsen, Goderich, sister of the
groom.
They were attired' alike in
tropic water peau de .sole, styl-
ed with separate bolero and en-
hanced with two dainty front
bows and matching shoes.
The three carried corsages of
pink delight roses on their
white muffs and wore matching
hats of • white beaver cloth and
veil.
Miss Patsy Proctor, Clinton,
niece of the bride, was flower
girl and wore a pretty pink tri-
cot dress with bodice trimmed
with nylon lace and carried
a white muff with a corsage of
pink sensation roses and a,.hat
matching 'that of the brides-
maids.
Miss Lois Grasby, Clinton,
provided tradition.al organ mu-
sic and accompanied the solo-

The couple will reside at 512
Brock Avenue, Whitby.
The groom is on the teaching
Staff of 'the Ajax Public School,
Prier to her marriage, the
bride was employed in the
Goderich law office. of Don-
nelly, Donnelly and Murphy.
Honour Bride
Prior to her marriage,
Elaine's mother, Mrs. Vic Tay-
lor, entertained at a trousseau
tea and receiving guests were
the hostess, her daughter, and
the groom's mother, Mrs. Carle-
ton Worsell, Goderich.
Pouring tea 'in the afternoon
were Mrs. Mac Worsell, grand-
mother of the groom and assist-
ing were: Janet Batkin, Jean-
ett Worsell, Joyce Matthews,
Mrs. Arnold Taylor and Mrs.
Fred Sloraan.
In the evening, Mrs. Harvey
Taylor, an aunt of the bride,
poured tea, 'assisted by Irene
Taylor, Joyce Matthews, Sally
Deeves, Mrs. Bob McClymont
and Mrs. Lloyd. Batkin.
Double Shower
Friends and neighbours held a
miscellaneous shower before
Christmas for Elaine and her
sister, Irene, with over 80..per-
sons present.
It was held 'at Baird's School
and the hostesses were: Mrs.
Harvey Taylor, Mrs. Arnold
Taylor, Mary Lou Taylor, Mrs.
John McGregor, 'Mrs. Lloyd
Batkin..and Miss Janet Batkin.
Several contests were held,
followed by 'a piano solo by Ann
McGowan.

and seed pearls was held in
place • by .a pill box shaped
'headpiece of silk organza. She
carried a white Bible covered
by pink delight roses and
streamers.

McGowan, Norma Lee and a
sister of the bride, Mrs. Bill
Worsell,
They were 'dressed identical-
ly in gowns of light blue bro-
cade. with elbow-length sleev-
es, scooped neckline and a long
waistline.
The gracefully flared skirts
featured an apron front panel
enhanced by a dainty bow,
They carried. a corsage of pink
carnations on white fur muffs
and they wore matching crown
hats of beaver cloth. Shoes
matching the dresses complet-
ed their ensemble.
