Kids Enjoy Visit With Firemen
The kindergarten students at Air Vice-Marshall Ilugh Campbell School,
RCAF Clinton, enjoyed an interesting outing to mark Fire Prevention Week
when they were, guests t:of the station's fire brigade. The youngsters are
shown here grouped around the bright, red firetruck that many of them prob-
ably dream of driving some day. Other school members participated in Poster

don. His friends and neighbors
wish him better health.

A very gbod attendance was
present Sunday at , St. An-
drew's United Church, with
Rev. Howard Plant taking the
service.
The junior choir took part
in the service along with the
seniors.

were pleasantly surprised Fri-
day evening, 'October 11, when
their family and relatives, ap-
proximately 40 guests, gathered
to celebrate their 25th wedding
anniversary.
The evening was spent in
singing and quizzes,
The couple were seated and
an address read by Lewis Gin-
gerich. They were then pre-
sented with a chest of stainless
steel flatware by their daugh-
ter, Mrs. Marlene Gingerich.
xMiss Ruth Clausius, niece of
the Rileys, was also presented
with a gift, the occasion being
her birthday.
A delicious lunch was then
served and an enjoyable even-
ing spent by all. Guests were
present from Bayfield, Zurich,
Dashwood, Exeter and Cent-
ralia.

The sixth meeting of the
club "The Milky Way" was held
on Saturday at the home of the
leader, Mrs. Robert Gemmell,
and was opened with the 4-H
Pledge.
The roll call was answered
by the members with "The sup-
per dish I made". The next
secretary is to be Mary Plumb.
Mrs, Ernest Whitehouse dem-
onstrated how to make blame
mange. Mary Plumb and Don-
na Whitehouse gave a demon-
stration on how to make lemon
chiffon,
