from the traditional lesson of ,
the `Thanksgiving service--"and
.He spoke unto them a parable
saying, the ground of a certain
rich man brought forth abun-
dantly" - known 'as the par-
able of the rich young fool.
"The word fool is used here
in the sense of foolish thinking
towards oneself," stated AO.
Harrison.
It is not a condemnation of
rich people but rather an ad-
monition to them to use their
riches for the good of others.
The, word "miser" is derived
from the word miserable, he.
said.
"We see so many parables
in our life today, in this par-
able", and he continued, "unlike
animals, we have tongues and
minds and can thank God,"
"The real Christian is wise
in the sense of doing our Lord's
Commandments", concluded
Mr. Harrison,
• Following the offertory, Miss
