AUBURN—The July meeting
of St. Mark's Anglican Church
Guild was held on the lawn at
the home of Mrs. George Sch-
neider, in the form of ,the chil-
dren of the congregation picnic.
The hostess was in charge of
the meeting which was opened
by singing the hymn, "There is
a Happy Land", Mrs. Gordon
R. Taylor accompanied for the
hymns on her accordion.
The scripture lesson was read
by Mrs. Clifford Brown follow-
ed by prayers led by Mrs. Sch-
neider. Mrs. Louis Ruddy gave
the chapter in the study book.
The birthday hymn, "Breathe
on Me- Breath", was sung for
Miss Shirley Brown.
The topic, Children of the
Bible, was given by Mrs.
George Schneider assisted by
several young girls reading the
lives of Bible children. It was
ver yinteresting and was closed
by prayer by Kathy Schneider.
The hostess thanked all who
had taken part in the program
and the first part of the meet-
ing was closed with the singing
of the hymn, "0, Father Mind-
ful of the Love"., Mr. Meally's
birthday hymn.

mer rectors, Rev. Wyatt and
Rev. Henderson, with donations
sent for the make-believe tea.
Mrs. Meally reported on the
recent work done at the rec-
tory and the travelling apron
was passed to all for a 25 cent
budget.
The members decided to buy
colored glass for the church
windows and it was announced
that open house will be held at
the rectory on July 27th, 2 to 5
and 7 to 9 for Rev. and Mrs.
Meally's. 25th wedding anniver-
sary.
Games with prizes for the
children were in charge of Mis-
ses Carole Brown and Ruth
Schneider. A successful auction
was held and a bountiful lunch,
including ice-cream, was served
by Mrs. Schneider, assisted by
her daughters, and Mrs. Clif-
ford Brown, assisted by her
daughters.
