June 29.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs .Ted Dragstra, RR
2, Goderich, while the groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
liam Kolkman, RR 1, Clinton.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was dressed in
a full length gown of white or-
ganza with fitted bodice, round
neckline, and long lily point
sleeves. The sheath skirt car-
ried appliques of Guipure lace,
matching those on the bodice.
The sheath sgirt was topped
with controlled full overskirt of
soft pleats, caught in the back
by self rose.
She carried a bouquet of red
roses with white streamers and
'mums.
Martha Dragstra, RR 2,
Goderich, was bridesmaid and
wore a ballerina length gown
of aqua norganza, with fitted
torso bodice, scoop neckline and
short sleeves.
Her controlled full skirt had
overpanels on either side with
wide panels of white lace under
the norganza, both in skirt and
front bodice,
She carried a bouquet of
pink carnations.
Kees Dykstra, RR 1, Clinton,
was groomsman and the guests
were ushered by Bert Kolkman,

A reception for the guests,
who came from as far as Chat-
ham, Thamesville and Welland,
was held in The church parlors.
The bride -donned a three-
piece suit of blue linen with
white accessories for a wedding
trip to Northern Ontario.
On their return, the couple
will reside at RR 1, Varna.

For Thomson Clan
KIPPEN—The Thomson re-
union was held Saturday at the
farm home of Mr. and Mrs.
Bert Thomson; Kippen, and 69
of the clan were present.
The home and lawn was at-
tractively decorated for the,oc-
casion and the tables were dec-
prated in yellow, pink and blue
flowers and streamers with sil-
ver "25th".
SilVer vases and silver can-
dles,. were p1 I ac e d each
side of the two-tiered anniver-
sary fruit cake, which added to
a delicious supper.
During the afternoon sports
and races were run off—the re-
sults being as. follows:
Races—five and under, Brian
Miller; 6 to 9, boys, Wayne
Simpson, Billy Thomson; girls,
6 to 10, Mary Thomson, Bar-
bara Stanlake and Barbara
Lamport, tied for second; 10
and over, John Thomson, Bar-
bara Lamport, Bruce Simpson.

Mrs, Albert Alexander; tug of
war, ladies against men, men's
side winning; guessing contest,
Bruce Simpson.
,• A prize was given to the
couple who were married clos-
est to 25 years which was Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Pries tap,
Mitchell; lucky spot at supper
table, Mrs. Herb Britton, Dub-
lin; draw for a special anniver-
sary gift, Mrs. Elmer Keyes,
Varna.
The youngest child present
was Joanne Vorstenbosch, dau-
daughter of Mr. And
Mrs. Bert Vorstenbosch, Mit-
chell; person coining farthest
distance, Miss Ruth Alexand-
er, London.
At about .6:00 p.m. supper
was served and wieners were
cooked on the barbecue as a
special for the children and
chocolate milk served.
The president, Elgin Thomp-
son then called on the host
and hostess to cut the anni-
versary cake at which time
pictures were taken. Ice-cream
and anniversary cake were then
served.
After supper, the president
called for the election pf offic-
ers for year 1964, and the fol-
lowing were named:

ing jacket and pink accessories
and her corsage was white gar-
denia with pink rosebud.
She was assisted in receiving
the guests by the groom's moth-
er, who was attired in a tur-
