The executive of Teensville
met 'and planned a record hop
for July 19 in the Auburn Com-
munity Memorial Hall. Jim
Moore of CKNX will be the
disc jockey for the evening and
a full night's program is plan-
ned.
Mrs. Lena Plaetzer is a pat-
ient in Clinton hospital recov-
ering after surgery. Her many
friends in this district wish her
a speedy recovery.

the July meeting on Wednesday
evening with a good attendance.
Three visitors were introduced
and an invitation from Walton
Institute -to attend their picnic
on July 24 was accepted.
A motion to renew sponsor-
ship of the child in Hong Kong
was carried and it was decided
a penny sale will be conducted
at the August meeting by the
first half of the members on
the roll.
Mrs. Tom Allen gave an inter-
esting report of the convention
held in Guelph recently and
trip to the west coast in June.

United Church held a most suc-
cessful ham and strawberry
supper on Wednesday, July 3,
realizing the sum of $235.00.
Social convener was Mrs. Bert
Faber.
The UCW and congregational
picnic of St. Andrew's Church,
Kippen, will be held at Lions
Park, Seaforth, on Tuesday,
July 16. Supper will be served
at 5:45 and sports will follow
immediately.
