AVAILABLE BENEFITS (Member pays the first $50 of expense per 'contract year) • All additional Doctor's Services, not already covered by the plan, at the Ontario Medical Associa- tion's 1962 Schedule of Fees. • All differences between t h e General Tariff and Specialists' section in the Ontario Medical Association's 1962 Schedule of Fees for surgery and administra- tion of anaethesia. • All Ambulance Services ordered by a doctor to nearest place of treatment. • All Prescription Drugs and Medicines ordered or given by a doctor. • Laboratory Services ordered by a doctor. • All Appliances, Therapy or relat- ed services ordered by a doctor. • Such Inoculations, Injections and Vaccinations not already covered. • All Nursing Care, when medically necessary, outside the hospital ( Registered Nurses ordered by a doctor) including VON services. New Non •Profit Comprehensive HURON MEDICAL CARE PLAN "The coop Way" A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE RESIDENTS OF HURON COUNTY SURGICAL CARE INCLUDES: (pays claims from the first dollar of expense) MEDICAL CARE INCLUDES: (pays claims from the first dollar of expense) ▪ All Surgical Operations • Services of Anaesthetists • Fractures and Dislocations • SCalds, Burns, Lacerations and other wounds • Cystoscopic, Bronchoscopic and Sigmoidoscopic examinations not requiring admission to a hospital as a bed patient • Electrocardiograms • Maternity care — including pre- natal and post-natal care • X-rays for diagnostic purposes— up to $25 for each person cover- ed per contract year. • Doctor's Services for illness — Home, Office .calls, up to $200; Hospital calls up to 60 visits for each person covered per con- tract year • Up to 20 injection treatments per person per contract year ( Immunization treatments not in- cluded as they are provided free by Public Health Units) • Osteopathic treatments — up to 10 treatments for each person covered per contract year • Chriopractic care—subject to a service fee of $1.00 per treat- ment payable by the member at time of visit • Annual Physical Examination — for each adult person, subject to certain claim provisions.
