dered at $4.75 per gallon for
55' gallons of weed spray and
$9.14 per gallon for 45 gallons
of brush-killer.
It was the lowest of s i x

Raise Grader Rental
To comply with regulations
set by the department of high-
ways, council agreed to set the
rental price of their grader at
$8.00 per hour.
This is an increase of $2
over the former rate, Due
to the fact the department
pays a subsidy on the grader,
they have set up minimum
prices for rental and if town-
ships charge anything lower,
they do not receive the full
subsidy.
In other business, council:
Gave approval to the $7,000
community well planned for
Varna. The project is being
handled under the Ontario Wa-
ter Resources Cot-emission and
all costs will be levied against
the hamlet.
Voted to pay the $20 mem-
