Happy Workers Give
To "March of Dimes"
The meeting of the Happy
Workers Club was held at the
home of Mrs. Ken Gibbings on
Thursday, with 12 club mem-
bers and 15 visitors, mostly
from the Tuckersmith Club,
present.
The meeting opened with the
Ode and The Lord's Prayer
and roll call was answered by
handing in a sock containing
a penny for each size of the
member's foot.
It was decided to donate a
sum of money to the "March
of Dimes" and names were
drawn over again for secret
pals.
It was decided that the meet-
ings would be held a week ear-
lier, which will mean the first
Wednesday of the month.
After an address by a guest
speaker, the . two clubs had a
sing -song and a lovely lunch
was served by the hostess.
The Tuckersmith Club invit-
ed the Happy Workers to a
euchre party on the evening of
March 22 and the members are
asked to bring sandwiches.
The next meeting will be held
at the home of Mrs. William
Flynn on the evening of April
3.
