CHSS Players In Tense Action
CHSS senior guard, Don COlquhoun (5) appears to have the upper hand
in this action in a recent contest with Wingham at the local school. While
Colquhoun's facial expression suggests he may have some anxiety as to whether
or not he'll gain control, his two team mates, Tony Verhoef (14) and. Dennis
Logan (11) appear to have faith in their cohort and are content to stand back
and watch. It is also doubtful if the "tongue-push" by Wingham's number five
will really help his mate. The senior and junior CHSS squads tackle South
Huron this week for the Perthex crown, after winning their own conference.

Present Opinions
On Use of Showers
By Janet Armstrong, 11C
There has been much con-
troversy concerning the com-
pulsory showers for girls taken
at CHSS. Here are the opinions
of some of the students chosen
at random:
Sharlene Turner: In favour of
showers for cleanliness.
Heather Winter: Although she
doesn't mind showers, she
maintains they shouldn't be
compulsory.
Sharon Lee: "Okay, if you
like them."
Linda Gerneinhardt: "If given
enough time, it is okay after
strenuous exercise."
Bev MacDonald: "Crazy".
Anne Knapp: "I take my
showers at home".
Mary Blok: "Takes away nat-
ural modesty in girls."
Bev Beck: "Not given enotigh
time — the showers increase
body temperature — and then
the cold-aired classrooms!" , * * e
