Advance tickets are now on
sale at Bartliffs Bakery and
are only 75 cents for adults and
50 cents for children. However,
children must be accompanied
by an adult. Capacity is 2,000
people.
The card will be presented in
the Recreation Centre and if
successful, future cards will
probably be planned with other
leading grapplers participating.
Maintaining the international
theme of the night, Gino Mar-
cello, a hulking native of Italy
will trade holds with Ireland's
Timothy Geohagan in another
bout.
Geohagan, one of the more
colorful wrestlers, usually pro-
vides an added feature with a
few vocals before his matches.
The final fight of the night
pits Japan's Toto Sakuro again-
st Pat Flanagan, another pop-
ular Canadian fighter.
Again there will probably be
a sharp contrast between the
antics of the two men, Flanagan
being a scientific grappler,
while his opponent from the
land of the rising sun employs
most of the tactics found in
the book, and a few that aren't.
The fight card was drafted
for the night by Canada's top
promoter, Frank Tunney.
F/O Allan reported the wrest-
ling show would be open to the
general public as well as the
RCAF personnel and doors
open at 7.30 p.m. for the 8.30
feature.

SOURCES OF POWER
To supply the electrical re-
quirements of homes, farms and
industry, Ontario Hydro was
operating 70 generating sta-
tions throughout its province-
wide power systems at the be-
igmning of 1962.
Monday night, the Canadiens
edged the Maple Leafs 6-5 in
Kinsmen pee wee action at the
Clinton arena, in what turned
out to be an individual scoring
battle between Wes Chambers
and Cam. Colquhoun.
Chambers scored four of the,
tallies for the winners, while
Colquhoun was a one-man
show for the Leafs, potting all
their markers in a closely play-
ed contest.
Future games in the league
pit the Maple Leafs against
the Rangers on Saturday at
11.00 a.m. and the Canadiens
battle the Rangers on Monday
at 7.30 p.m.
The Saturday morning sched-
ule at the arena sees the squirts
on the ice between 9.00 'and
10,15, followed by the wee wees
at 10.15 to 11.00.

ELECTRICAL PUMP
Two cent's worth of elec-
tricity will pump 1,825 gallons
of water on an Ontario farm.
Since a good milking cow will
drink up to 30 gallons of water
a' day, an electric pump can
supply a herd of 60 milking
cows with sufficient water for
only two cents a day.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
In 1893, only three electrical
appliances were available-an
iron, a toaster and an auto-
matic coffee-maker. By 1939
there were 19 appliances on
the market. Today the number
of electrical appliances avail-
able is approaching 100.
Six of the most popular
wrestlers on the professional
circuit will be featured in the
star-studded wrestling card to
be presented at RCAF Clinton
on Wednesday, January 16.
. Arranged by F/O Dick Al-
lan, Station Recreation Officer,
the main feature will pit Can-
ada's most famous wrestler,
Whipper Billy Watson, against
the rough and tough antics of
Australia's Fred Atkins.
Watson, a standout in pro-
fessional wrestling for a num-
ber of years, has held most of
the titles up for competition in
the "grunt and groan" business
and held the British Empire
crown for a number of years.
At one time, he traded the
world crown with Lou Thez in
a series of matches:
One of the "clean" grapplers
in the business, Watson's antics
will be in sharp contrast to
those usually employed by his
Aussie competitor.
Midgets Trim
Lucknow 104
Clinton Midgets, under coach
Icen Engeistad, won their sec-
ond tilt of the week, posting
a 10,4 drubbing over Lucknow
in the local arena, Tuesday.
The locals had things much
their own way in the game
until they relaxed the pressure
in the final period, allowing
three of the visitor's markers
in the last 20 minutes.
Bob Batkin was the scoring
leader for Clinton, denting the
twine on four occasions,
George Schhubb followed him
closely with three big markers
while Bill Hutchins, Rick Finch
and Morris Hoggarth added a
single each.
Don Fisher, Ross Forester,
Ed Brown and Bill Finlayson
were the Lucknow snipers.
Aided by some fine defensive
play by his rear-guards, goalie
Jim Crawford played a steady
game between the pipes for the
homesters,
