Each unit has a television, telephone, wall-to- wall carpeting and an outside entrance, as well as an entrance onto the cor- ridor that leads to all of the Elm Haven facilities. Ten units have two single beds, while the others have double beds. A four-piece bath is installed in 12 of the rooms, while the other eight have a three-piece. Each of the rooms is heated with electric heat and all are air-conditioned. (News-Record Photo) -Fleischauer Family Take Pert In Operation The management chores at the ultra-modern. Dhn Raven Motor Ifotei will be n "family affair" with all the members of the Fleisehauer , family tali- ing part. Over-all management of the. operation will be carried on by Bill„ with the aid of his year-old. son, Doug, The dining. mom will be un- der the watchful eye of Bill's wife, Ruby, and she will be assisted by Doug's wife, Barb- ara. Bill and Ruby, who moved to Clinton from Stratford 16 years ago are well acquainted with restaurant work, success- fully operating their snack bar down town since moving here. Previous to that, Ruby work- ed in a Stratford restaurant, while her husband was in the shoe business in the classic city, Doug also helped around the snack bar before .inoving to London where he was associat- ed with Scales and Roberts and lately with a Montreal firm, He was married to the for- mer Barbara. Parker, a year and a half ago and the couple, have a three-month old daught- er, Dena Lee. And while his duties have yet to be named, 11-year-old Dennis is also ready for action when he isn't attending to his studies at Clinton Public School. The Fleischauer family have been responsible for choosing most of the furnishings for the Elm Haven, which was built by Kerricthian limes of Lon,. don, Architect for the structure . was. Mike Wells. Misses Ruth Ann Traquair, and Ruth Ann Hume, St. Th- omas, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Mc- Queen. Mrs. Minnie Sangster, who spent the holidays with mem- bers of her family, has return- ed home. Mr. Lorne Hay is a patient in Scott Memorial Hospital, Seaforth, and is recovering nicely from an operation. Mr,. and Mrs. George Ingram and Mrs. Earle Sproat were New Year's guests of Mr. Allen Johnson of Kippen. Mrs. Sproat also attended a family Chris- Mas dinner party of 20 at the Dufferin, Centralia. Special figure skating inst- ruction lessons were held in Seaforth during Christmas holidays under the private in- struction of Mr. Arthur Bourke Stratford. Those attending were Mary Pattinson, Aylmer; John Hubbell, Corunna; Mary Sills, Seaforth; Judy Harms. worth, Sarnia; Bruce Brady, Seaforth; Pauline Bell, Hens- all. Mr. John Hyde, Windsor; Mrs. Wallace (Louise) Step- henson, Exeter; Miss Jean Hyde, London; Mr. and Mrs. P. (Evelyn) Yacknovets, Osh- awa; Miss Marjorie Hyde, Lon- don; visited at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al- ex Hyde, Kippen, and attended the funeral of their uncle, John Hyde. WI Executive Meets The executive of South Hur- on District WI held a meet- ing on Saturday, January 5 at the home of Mrs. Fred Beer Hensall, with 19 ladies present. All branches were represent- ed including the 'Juniors. Plans were finalized for the 60th anniversary banquet to be held in Exeter Legion Hall on Monday, January 28. Honor Bank Manager The citizens of Hensall and community are having a fare- well dinner in honor of Mr. K, K. Christian, manager of the Bank of Montreal for the past eight and a half years, who has received word that he is being transferred to Napanee. Din- ner will be held at the Hensall arena, Tuesday, January 22 and tickets may be obtained at Wilson's drug store, Joynt's men's wear and Crest hard- ware. Kin Pay ice 'Time T h e executive meeting of Hensall Kinsmen was held at the home of president John Heal, Thursday. The service committee reported $98,00 has been paid to Hensall arena for ice time for minor hockey so far this year, and also reported over $500 will be spent for min- or hockey this season. Plans were finalized for the CKNX barn dance to be held at Hen- sall arena this month.
