A duet was sung by the Crit-
tenden children; a solo was
sung by Mrs. Clayton Hodgins;

The members of Ontario
Street UCW enjoyed a Christ-
mas program and conducted an
extensive business session at
their general meeting held in
the church recently.
Mrs, Mervin Batkm was re-
named president of the group
and she will be inducted at the
January meeting.
The worship service for the
meeting was conducted by
members of unit three with
Mrs, Lewis Dutot, Miss Olive
Johnson, Mrs. C. H. Magee,
Mrs. Harry Plumsteel, Mrs.
VanDamme, Mrs, Gerald Hol-
mes and Mrs. Robert Hunter
taking part.
Mrs. Milton Wiltse read a
Christinas letter and a short
nostalgic poem on the Christ-
mas theme. Mrs. Roy Plum-
steel and Miss Emma Plum-.
steel sang two duets.
During the business session,
Mrs. Milton Wiltse and Mrs.
Leslie Lawson were appoint-
ed auditors and Mrs. Wiltse
was named to serve on the
nominating committee of the
official board of the church.
Items of business recom-
mended by the executive were
passed and the members
agreed to send cheer boxes to
the town shut-ins of the con-
gregation and cards to the
country residents.
The treasurer's report was
given by Mrs. George Potter
in the absence of Mrs. Lloyd

It was reported the group

the annual Boxing Day trap
shoot at Kippen Gun Club.
Anderson tied with Lloyd
Venner, Hensall, each shooter
scoring 45 hits on 50 targets.
However, Anderson copped
the event in the extra shooting
match.
