Dearborn, Mich. are here as guests. This day is usually held late in January in con- junction with minor hockey week in Canada. A draw will take place at the Saturday game for five turkeys. Kinsmen squirts took to the ice. Under the watchful eyes Of coach Mervin Roe the boys loosened up with ,a good work- out before beginning the morn- ings notion. The Maple Leafs and the Bruins met in the first contest with the Leafs shutting out the Bruins 1.0 on a goal by David Fawcett. In the second game Terry McDonald assisted by Dennis Deline scored for the Black Hawks and Paul Bartliff scored unassisted for the Leafs to end that game in a 1-1 deadlock, The weewees, under coach Brian Heyes then took over the ice and made good use of it for the remainder of the morn- ing. Mel- vin Graham, (omoka, Alberta. Born in October 1876, he was a native of Stanley Township, where he received his early edu- cation. He taught school for faux years before entering Toronto. University. After graduating he went to Alberta where he prac- ticed for over .50 years. He had been in failing health for some Months. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs, Milner, Collins Bay, Ontario; two sons, Allan, at home and Dr. John, Swift Current, Sask. and a sister, Mrs. James Broadfoot, Seaforth. He Wfas a brother of the late Goldie Graham, Brucefield. Fred G. Mulholland Funeral service was conduct- ed on Monday afternoon: at the Beattie funeral home, 55 Rat- tenbury Street Fast, for Fred- erick Garfield Mulholland, who passed away in Clinton Public Hospital oil Saturday, Dec. -8, following a six-month illness. The Rev. 'Clifford G. Park of- ficiated, and interment was in Clinton Cemetery. Pall-bearers were Leslie Jervis, Walter For- bes, Raymond* Whitmore, Wal- lace Avery, Orville Blake, Mur- ray McDougall. Flower-bearers were two nephews, William Gibson and Russell Byers. Mr, Mulholland was born on April 11, 1879, the son of Flor- ence and William Mulholland, Walton. He' married Ada Lar- son who passed away. In Feb- ruary of 1942 he married Ruth Reid who survives; him. Mr. Mulholland was a farmer in Goderich Township, and was a merchant an Holmesville for 17 years. He lived all of his life in that area, and was a mem- ber of Holinesville United Ch- urch. Surviving besides his wife is 1 daughter, Mrs. Earl (Laura) DeBeau, Los Angeles, Cale one brother, Jack, Clinton; six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren People attended the funeral from Lucknow, Mitchell, Detroit, Londen, Tav- istock and Woodstock.
