Wednesday in Clinton the

fought victory with Magee who
relieved McPherson early in the
game taking credit for the win.
Kingsville opened up with
three quick runs in the first
inning, but a ,second inning
home run! by Kingswell which
brought in' Pearson and Magee
who had singled', put the locals
back in the game.
In the ,third 'inning Pear-
son's triple brought in Switzer
and Magee. Pearson scored on

sive swimming program for
school age children has gone on
at the station recreation. centre
this summer - with, a total en-
rolment of 80.
Each group was given, one
hour's instruction per day each
day of the week throughout the
two vacation months by Cpl.
O'Connor and AC Sirois of the
RCAF recreation staff. Assist-
ants, who were, all high_school
age dependents', were Susan
Fretts, Laurie Spann, Gwen
Davies, John Farrell and Mike
Sutcliffe,
Among 'the 67 students' who
awards were 16 who

feat of 'gaining two awards in
less' than two months of train-
ing. Going from Beginners
through, Junior to Intermediate

Ludwig, Susan Orr, Dianne Pat-
terson and Ricky Rousseau.

fourth and went into the lead
by one rue in the fifth.
Clinton tiled it up again in
the sixth with a run by Proctor
who had tripled. Pearson start-
ed off the ,eighth with a single
and scored on Proctor's single
to put the locals in the lead.
Clinton held Kingsville scoreless
in the ninth to end the game.
Power ehitting in the game
was supplied by Kingswell with
a home run, ,and Pearson and
Proctor with two 'singles and a
triple each, Magee hit two
singles while McPherson and
Switzer each had' one single.
